What are these shoes and slippers for? Who own them?

What are they doing in CRIBS’ doorstep?

They are the shoes of the volunteers who visit CRIBS. Volunteers who visit CRIBS are required to take off their shoes, wear socks and white shirt, for hygiene purpose.  Visiting times are from 9-11 am and 2-4 pm everyday.

The more pairs of shoes and slippers there are, the merrier, though there is a limit in the number of volunteers in each shift, to avoid over-crowding and for the kids not to be overwhelmed with so many visitors in a certain period.

Find out how to be a volunteer here, and who knows, next time your pair of shoes or slippers will form part of the spectacle by CRIBS’ doorstep.

And these baby shoes?

Babies do no wear shoes while in their playroom. They crawl, walk and run around in their bare feet.

Why do they have these shoes for then?

They wear these shoes when they go out of CRIBS–for field trips and their birthday parties. For these occasions, there are kind-hearted people who donate some money or sponsor their activities.
